New Jersey born and Houston based multidisciplinary artist and educator
Saran Alderson explores the possibilities of beauty and abstraction using the human figure. Originally trained as a Fashion Designer in NYC and Nottingham, England she uses her keen eye for detail and construction to focus on moments of beauty derived from the nude figure. She holds an MFA from the University of Houston with a focus on Painting and Printmaking, a BA (Honours) in Fashion Design from Nottingham Trent University and an AAS from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
